I got this postcard when I went to Palawan on a business trip. It was the rainy season and the only place I've been able to visit was the marketplace. I shopped for some Dried Pusit and trinkets for friends. I promised myself though that I'll go back here.
I was surprised at how accessible Palawan is. Upon disembarking the plane, Tricycles much like the one pictured are waiting at the gates ready to take you to your accommodation of choice. There are lots of choices from hotels, resorts, hostels and even homestay accommodations. Tours are easy to come by as well. Even the tricycle drivers offer city tours and tours of the Undergroung River. YES, the Puerto Princesa Underground River which was recently included in the 7 Wonders of Nature.

Sucks to realize that sending through hotel conceirge doesn't involve physical organic stamps but only the ink stamps. :| Would have liked a stamp from Palawan..But then again I don't know if they make those. :P

Paris Disneyland
"One day, we're gonna live in Paris.
I promise, I'm on it."
It's a line from one of my favorite bands, Friendly Fire. I sing this to myself whenever I feel down or stressed out. I wanna go to Paris. Not for the shops but for the people, the museums, the parks and the architecture. Someday sure I will go there. Live there for a while. Maybe. Hopefully. Soon.
So what about you? Where do you wanna go someday? ^___^
Mactan, Cebu
I got this postcard a year ago. My good sister-friend Mitchums sent it to me while she was staying there during her last visit. I've always wanted to see this in person. She said it might look big on pictures, it's really quite small. Hoping i may see it in person this year. ^___^
Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on 1521. This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Minore del Santo NiƱo on Magallanes Street (Magallanes being the Spanish name of Magellan), just in front of the city hall of Cebu City. A sign below the cross describes the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross that is found in the center of the chapel. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes or in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers. Some people, however, believe that the original cross had been destroyed or had disappeared after Magellan's death, and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully colonized the Philippines. 1st Ukraine postcard
I got this postcard from Ukraine. This is my first postcard from that country and I loved it! :) It reminds me of fairies swishing clouds of magic dust. The sender, Lena, said that it makes her think of puffs of cotton candies. It surely looks like so!
Receiving postcards from all over the world makes me long to travel. They give me a glimpse of what the other side of the world looks like, much like a wormhole or a telescope that if I peek in, i get to see what happens beyond.
Send me a postcard so I could get to peek at your corner of the world. ^____^

Taj Mahal
A good friend of mine, JX, sent me this postcard from her trip to India. She works as a flight attendant, thus, she gets to travel all over the world and send me amazing postcards like this. ^___^ This is the first postcard she ever sent me and it's one of my favorites.
The Taj Mahal is a white Marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."[3] (Wikipedia)
India is one of the places I plan on visiting someday. The country is rich with culture and traditions and I would really love to see them for myself. Let's hope that someday becomes someday soon.
Namaste!
